FREQUENTLY ASKED

Questions clinics ask us.

Straight answers about how Asttona works for aesthetic and dental practices — features, migration, onboarding, security and pricing.

What is Asttona?

Asttona is a cloud-based clinical EMR and CRM platform for aesthetic clinics, medspas and dental practices. It combines patient records, digital consent, before-and-after imaging, treatment plans, booking and calendar, patient messaging and a lead-to-booking CRM in one system.

Is Asttona an EMR for aesthetic clinics or for dental clinics?

Both. Asttona runs aesthetic clinics and medspas as well as dental practices, with clinical templates, consent forms and treatment plans configured for each discipline during onboarding.

Does Asttona include a CRM?

Yes. Enquiries from any channel land in one pipeline, from first message to booked chair, with follow-up, recalls and retention tracking — so marketing spend can be tied to actual bookings.

Can we migrate patient data from our current system?

Yes. Our team imports patients, clinical history and upcoming appointments from spreadsheets or a legacy practice management system as part of the standard onboarding.

How long does onboarding take?

Most clinics go live within a few weeks: discovery call, workspace setup, data migration, role-specific team training, a supervised go-live day, then monthly optimisation reviews.

How does Asttona handle consent forms and photos?

Consent is digital and e-signed, stored against the patient record and locked once signed. Before-and-after photos are attached chronologically to each treatment session.

Is patient data secure?

Yes. Asttona uses role-based access, encrypted storage and auditable records, and is built around clinical data-protection and compliance requirements in the regions we operate in.

How much does Asttona cost?

Pricing depends on clinic size, number of practitioners and locations. Book a demo and we will quote against your actual setup.
